Can you believe the Shalom Circles community has been around for 5 years already?
Although the foundation only formalized during the pandemic, the early foundation of this community had already put down roots for 2 years by the time the pandemic was upon us. And since late 2018, this circle of fellowship, support, and friendship has been dedicated to making a positive impact on communities both in Ethiopia and the United States.
As we celebrate our 5-year milestone, we must all reflect on the incredible impact of praying, learning, and growing together – by supporting one another, we’ve created a space where each of us can turn for guidance, advice, acceptance, and even laughter during the hard times.
In Ethiopia, our efforts have centered around providing access to education, healthcare, and financial support. Our cooperation and fundraising have provided relief and support to families in need, and in doing so, made them a part of our family as well. At the same time, we’ve come together to support those in need in the United States as well.
By offering support and guidance, we have witnessed individuals regain their footing and reclaim their health, with us all cheering them along their journey.
As we embark on the next 5 years, we remain committed to our mission of transforming lives and building stronger communities. None of our accomplishments would have been possible without your unwavering prayers, faith, and contribution. Join us as we celebrate 5 years with this year’s Giving Tuesday on November 28. 2023 so we can sustain and nourish a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, together.
